Why are you running?

Wrentham resident, university professor, wife and mother of three (ages 13, 11 and 7) who wants to bring my perspective as both an educator and parent to provide our youth community with the best educational experience.

Bio

My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 17 years and moved to Wrentham nearly 12 years ago. Since moving to Wrentham, I have been both a commercial and residential designer. In 2013, I started teaching design at Newbury College. I have two degrees in Interior design, Bachelor of Science from Endicott College and Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. I currently teach at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus in the Interior Architecture and Design program. My three kids are 13, 11, and 7 years old. This year I started co-teaching in the faith formation classes at St. Mary’s Parish. I am a former board member for the local Moms group chapter and elementary school PTO. One of my passions is reading both fiction and nonfiction books. A position on the school committee would combine my loves of education and parenthood.
