Why are you running?
The past eight years I have spent raising babies and have not had much time to dedicate to the community. Now that my children are starting their journey into the WPS system I have the ability to give back and I would be honored to be giving back to one of Wrentham's greatest treasures, our kids. I am hopeful that joining the school committee will allow me to help continue to bring a voice of transparency for our community's values to ensure the best possible foundation for our kids to flourish.
Bio
My name is Rebecka Webber and I am running for a seat on the Wrentham Elementary School Committee. I am a mom to two magnificent little kids who attend Delaney; one in kindergarten and one in second grade. Since my husband grew up in Wrentham, we decided to make it home once again in 2016 after his transfer from the Air Force. When we first moved back, I worked as an assistant in a local childcare center and absolutely loved watching them grow and discover. When we had plans to start our own family, plans shifted and I began working as an office manager for my husband’s family company and later added the full time job of motherhood. We are rooted in this community, and like many others, would like to continue to see Wrentham be a great place to raise a family.
