Why are you running?

I believe that my 48 years of professional work in the chemical industry, and 36 of those years founding and running my own wholesale distribution business that employed area residents, puts me in a unique position to serve constructively on the Wrentham Planning Board. I recognize that we need appropriate development to continue to thrive as a community, but that development cannot be such that it outruns our infrastructure and long-term objectives as a community.

Bio

We moved our family from Franklin to Wrentham 28 years ago as Franklin’s growth ran wild. We moved to Wrentham because of the character of the community; we have beautiful open spaces, farms, and lakeside living that have defined our town for 350 years. I’m no stranger to volunteer service and take the responsibility seriously. If elected, I will continue to immerse myself in the Planning Board's duties and by-laws and I will work hard to be a contributing member of the Board. I am not a rubber stamp and will work to ensure compliance with our regulations and sensible growth for our community. I want to help and give back to the community that has given my family so many great things.

Wrentham Planning Board:

Elected to PB 2022 Serving as clerk the last year.
Worked to settle challenges and community of the MBTA by-law compliance
Will work to continue to carefully evaluate all projects before us and to hear all sides of the proposal and opposition (if any) before making decisions.
